Poor old Luke Gallows always seemed to draw the short straw in WWE. The Straight Edge Society was shot down, the Good Brothers were never given their due, he had to pretend to be fake Kane for a while, and of course who can forget Festus?

Festus was genuinely one of the strangest characters WWE ever came up with, and that is high, high bar. The big brute would normally be in an unresponsive state. Except he wasn’t unresponsive because he could walk to the ring. But only after being led by his partner Jesse. Confused? There's more.

The sound of the ring bell then somehow acted as a trigger to turn him into a raging maniac who could not be controlled. Except he still exhibited enough control to understand the rules of a wrestling match. This will forever remain as one of wrestling's oddest gimmicks and medical science’s unconquered frontiers.

After battling Galactus and pinning Hulk Hogan in the main event of Wrestlemania, I've taken a break from living in fantasy worlds, to focus on writing about them. I'm a comic book geek, a wrestling mark, a break dancer, and a scientist. One of those things may not be true.
