Less a case of two gimmicks but rather two different emotional states were requested of Brie Bella when she returned alongside sister Nikki in 2018.

The pair made WWE their home again that summer, and embarked on what now looks set to be their last full-time run. The highlight of this was Nikki challenging Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship at the landmark Evolution pay per view. But this was not the only program Brie was involved in.

While she was playing this dastardly heel alongside her sister on Raw, over on SmackDown she was teaming with her husband Daniel Bryan as a babyface, going up against the Miz and Maryse. She had basically turned into two different versions of herself, and it's perhaps why neither angle connected as well as she managed to.
