10 Times WWE Wrestlers Should Have Refused To Read The Script

8. Beaver Cleavage – Mother’s Milk (Raw, 26th April 1999)

In one of the Attitude era’s short bursts of tasteless insanity, the former Headbanger Mosh (Charles Warrington) became Beaver Cleavage, a parody of a sitcom that wrapped over three decades before the gimmick’s inception. The whole character was ill-advised, so we’ll shame the debut promo.

A minute of Raw was reserved for Beaver Cleavage. In a black and white filter, maybe to hide blushes of shame, Warrington delivered his opening line, the banal “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”, in a hammy fashion meant to be childlike, though closer to gimmicks such as Eugene and Festus.

Upon finding the cereal dry he calls for his “Mom”, who enters with a jug of milk, a plunging neckline, and impressively muscular arms. Her line is best appreciated unedited:

“Is this what mother’s little boy is looking for? Does mother’s little hairy beaver want some of mother’s milk?”

A line which may have well just been: “Hi viewer. This is incest. He’s named after a vagina. And the milk is from my breasts”. Though he would do further promos as the character, Warrington should have stopped Beaver Cleavage at its icky beginnings.
