10 Times WWE Wrestlers Were WAY Better Together Than Apart

6. Enzo & Cass

Enzo Amoré may not even be long for WWE despite surviving yet another beating from former partner Big Cass before the seven footer injured himself careering over the top rope after missed big boot. Truthfully, his former buddy's injury may have thrown the 'Smack Talker Sky Walker' one last lifeline, so disparate was the Raw forfeiture.

However, nothing would have protected the job security of the leopard print aficionado more than never actually separating the team in the first place. Despite Amoré's fantastic acting in the immediate aftermath of the turn, nothing about their post-split feud has been remotely rewarding for either.

Big Cass has earned little-to-no fanfare as Raw's sudden new heel threat, whilst Enzo took on Big Show as a towering surrogate and got used to examining the lights in part as punishment for his attitude backstage.

Cass' injury could give at least one of them some much-needed time away from the audience at large, but a quick sojourn on the WWE Network back to any time between 2014-16 will show just how staggeringly popular the duo were. WWE may rue their decision to put an axe through the act when neither man shows any further promise.
