Many people believed that Sasha Banks should have won the Women's Championship at the WrestleMania 32 triple threat between her, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. The Boss had recently turned face and had organic crowd support following her scintillating series with Bayley, and natural charisma. She seemed perfect to lead the women's era of WWE but was overlooked in favour of Charlotte, the first of many matches she'd lose when she shouldn't have.

Yet, Sasha would receive her moment of world title glory on the 25 July episode of RAW, defeating Flair to win her first main roster championship to overwhelming fan support. The match was fantastic, showcasing Banks and Flair's immaculate chemistry perfectly while crafting an organic babyface narrative for Banks across the 16 minute runtime.

She works at her best as a babyface when she keeps fighting in spite of every obstacle and the damage administered to her body, and while she's often booked to fail after a triumphant fight, she won here and it still sends shivers down the spine to watch her celebration.

It should have led to a lot more, but hopefully her proper world title reign will happen now.
