10 Times WWE's Smackdown Brand Got Shafted

4. You Call This A Draft? (2007)

The first ever "win a match, your brand steals a wrestler" draft took place in 2007, a novel concept that saw Raw acquire the likes of Booker T, Bobby Lashley, Mr. Kennedy, and in the supplemental draft, William Regal, Paul London, and Brian Kendrick.

Not too shabby, right? Well, Smackdown's lot for the night greatly paled in comparison, staggeringly so.

Imagine this haul: The Great Khali, Ric Flair (retiring nine months later), Torrie Wilson (leaving a year later and past her best), Chris Masters (released for wellness reasons by year's end), Kenny Dykstra (never relevant again), and Eugene (released in August). The only other picks were from the supplemental draft: Victoria, Curt Hawkins, and Zack Ryder.

At that point in time, of the three only Victoria was a proven WWE name.
