10 Times You Were Right To Worry About WWE Feuds

6. Dawn Marie & Torrie Wilson

The worst of the Attitude Era continued when Ruthless Aggression reigned.

If you're wondering who worried about this feud, the answer is absolutely everybody. It took up so much TV time, included overblown segments on pay-per-views, and even lead to a storyline death. WWE didn't know how to book women until a long time later, so this storyline encompassed an issue fans would spend another 10 years dreading.

It all started when Dawn took a liking to Torrie Wilson's father Al. The two got engaged but Marie was willing to call it off if Torrie visited her at a hotel. This segment took up so much of Armageddon 2002 that it boggles the mind how it was signed off. Dawn decided to marry Al anyway, so it was all for nothing.

The wedding happened at the start of 2003, with Dawn and Al standing in the ring wearing only their underwear. It was one of those I hope my parents don't walk in moments for everybody living at home. Eventually, Al died after he was overstimulated on the wedding night.

You'll be pleased to know that there was actually some wrestling in this story too.

What did Torrie do when Dawn accidentally killed her father? She faced her at Royal Rumble 2003 and won. Nevermind that her dad was dead, because she got the W.

The ultimate example of something in wrestling that hasn't aged well at all, watching this week after week for three months was the absolute pits of being a WWE fan.

When I'm not trying my hardest to visit all 50 U.S. states, I'm listening to music from the 80s, watching TV from the 90s, and reminiscing about growing up in the 00s. I'm currently living in Melbourne, Australia so WWE premium live events are on Sunday afternoons for me; the absolute dream.
