10 TNA Matches You Totally Forgot (That WWE Should Now Book)

8. Mick Foley Vs Kurt Angle

Working on the assumption that he was able to make a full physical recovery from recent hip surgery, former Raw General Manager Mick Foley could be a viable opponent for the man who ultimately took his job on the flagship show.

Speculation continues to abound over Kurt Angle's possible in-ring return, with talk flaring up yet again in light of the recent reveal of Jason Jordan as his son.

A match with or against the former American Alpha member seems an inevitability, but a safe and successful Angle return could give WWE hope that future contests featuring the Olympic Gold Medallist under their watch present much less of a risk.

Equally fighting fit could be Foley, who stands potentially to be in better shape now that he was in TNA or at any point in the past two decades.

Visible even during his brief stint as Monday Night Raw's GM between 2016 and 2017, Foley's weight loss was legitimately impressive, and history has shown his ability to get into peak condition for a contest he wants to give his all to.

A comedy Cobra/Socko showdown in 2012's Royal Rumble marked his last in-ring appearance, and his previous limitations contributed to a retirement later that year. But Foley has reneged on such statements before. An unexpected invite to tackle an all time great would surely tease him back into the fold yet again.
