10 TNA Matches You Totally Forgot (That WWE Should Now Book)

4. Hulk Hogan Vs Sting

Though Sting officially announced his retirement at the 2016 Hall of Fame following an unfortunate injury suffered in a Night Of Champions pay-per-view clash with Seth Rollins just over six months earlier, he remains the easiest part of the equation when it comes to booking a never-seen-before-in-WWE clash with Hulk Hogan.

'The Hulkster' is still on the outs with Vince McMahon's organisation despite numerous hints and teases that he would eventually be welcomed back into the fold after the dust settled on the unpleasant racist remarks he was heard making during the sex tape recording that ultimately contributed to his $115million court victory over Gawker.

It's the unlikeliness of either man returning to the ring that makes the battle potentially so enticing. A brawl with Hogan would require limited physical involvement from 'The Stinger', who couldn't afford another wrong move in a contest against a younger or more technically gifted foe.

Similarly, the last decade has highlighted Hogan's own barriers, with his spectacular Bound For Glory 2011 brawl with Sting's 'Joker' variant arguably the best match the two ever had.

Name value alone would dictate a high profile setting for the match, and as proven by WrestleMania 31's enjoyably basic Triple H/Sting outing, the bloated card suits the featherlight touch of a distraction piece featuring big names. The former Starrcade main event would slot in nicely on WWE's own biggest stage.
