10 TNA Matches You Totally Forgot (That WWE Should Now Book)

3. Jeff Hardy Vs AJ Styles

A mouth-watering clash thanks to their paths rarely crossing in TNA and the renewed auras both have in comparison to their latter days working for the Orlando group, a match between 'The Charismatic Enigma' and 'The Phenomenal One' would be a safe choice to main event any WWE pay-per-view.

Presently tucked away comfortably in his rejuvenated pairing with brother Matt, it remains unclear if WWE have plans to go again with Jeff Hardy as a main event threat after wonky spells with the younger North Carolinian on top shortly before a mammoth 2009 drug bust and public battle with demons whilst headlining TNA shows at various points between 2010 and 2011.

Appearing substantially more reliable for both companies since publicly hitting rock bottom during his intoxicated non-match with Sting at TNA's Victory Road 2011, Hardy has repented for his misdeeds with an impressive career reinvention that has helped spur the brothers' collective rebirth almost as much as Matt's exceptional #BROKEN character development.

Since his own TNA exit, AJ Styles continues to dazzle and delight. Crafting one of the best matches at this year's WrestleMania against Shane McMahon (of all people), Styles proved what a safe pair of hands he really was, and a measured war between two of the industry's legendary aerialists would give both an opportunity to wind the clock back to their high risk youths, if only to make the one-time dream match an entirely new reality.
