Speaking of former cruiserweight performers who have gone on to do pretty well for themselves in World Wrestling Entertainment, hows about that Consequences Creed? I was one of the many who didn't really pay that much attention to Creed in TNA, viewing him as one of the disposable bodies within the X-Division albeit the one with the least interesting offence.

Fast forward a few years and Consequences Creed is now Xavier Woods, one-third of the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions of the modern era. They are seemingly on route to disposing Demolition as the longest reigning too, cementing Woods' place in WWE history. It is all a long cry from puking in the middle of the ring against Amazing Red.

There is also the feeling that Woods' career in WWE is just getting started. Regardless of where he is in five years time, he's been a whole lot more successful in WWE than his forgettable time in TNA.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
