Most noticeable on-air production botches tend to happen while a wrestler is making his/her way to the ring. It's not uncommon for producers to cue up the wrong entrance music, play somebody else's video, or neglect to trigger lighting and pyro effects, though it's rarely enough to derail the show.

One of the most humorous examples of this came on the 10 February 2014 episode of Raw. The Shield were several weeks away from turning face at the time, and while they'd recently been distracted by growing tension between Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, they were still supposed to be playing menacing, chaotic heels.

Ambrose successfully defended his United States Championship against Mark Henry that night, but instead of playing The Shield's crushing metal theme, the production team went for something completely different. The old Total Divas song started playing instead, triggering total confusion from everyone in the building, particularly Ambrose, who could barely contain his laughter.

WWE have wisely edited this mistake out of the Network footage, but those who watched the live broadcast caught the glorious sight of the company's three most dangerous men leaving the ring to a sugary pop soundtrack.
