3. Blood Vomits And Char Marks: The Story Of 'The Viper' Vs 'The Fiend'
Any time Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton are paired together, their storyline seems to travel down some questionable, dark paths and involve plenty of gross visuals.
During their WrestleMania 33 match, images of maggots, cockroaches, and other pests were projected onto the ring canvas. Admittedly, the stunt was more laughable than the intended disgusting, but it showed WWE's efforts to gross out the audience.
In 2020, 'The Eater of the Worlds' had well transitioned into the nearly invincible 'Fiend' character, but even with the fresh coat of paint, many familiar tropes followed when he crossed 'The Viper's' path. There were plenty of disturbing visuals spliced into FireFly FunHouse vignettes, and now Alexa Bliss joined 'The Fiend's' side and would frequently meddle with Orton, performing one foul act after another.
From Bliss vomiting some kind of syrupy blood goo to Orton burning 'The Fiend' to death, there were plenty of moments during the most recent feud between Wyatt and 'The Apex Predator' to make fans cringe... or at least, that's what they were intended to do. Perhaps the little kiddos were grossed out, while the parents questioned why they still watched free WWE programming.
