10 Totally Wasted Wrestling Factions

8. League Of Nations

Rumours have begun to swirl around the wrestling world that plans are in place to split up one of the current factions in WWE, the League of Nations. Not many would argue against this decision, seeing as being a part of the group has done little to nothing for none of the members. In fact, it only feels like a cup of tea ago that Sheamus, Rusev, Alberto del Rio and King Barrett came together for no reason other than that they weren't American.

For years people clamoured for such a stable to exist. When Drew McIntyre was still with the company the idea of putting him together with Sheamus and Barrett was exciting to say the least. The three were all talented, young, and physically imposing, and with the right backing could have caused a stir in WWE. Even with the foursome that was eventually thrown together, the amount of talent in the group should have been sufficient for a position of prominence in WWE.

As it is, the group has been booked as a joke since day one. In fact, their only real purpose has been to get beaten down by Roman Reigns and emasculated by legends. A wasted opportunity to say the least, all four workers are arguably in a worse position than they were when they came together.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man.
