10 Toughest Bastards In UFC History

5. Nick Diaz

It takes a special sort of fighter to make their UFC debut at the age of just 20 years of age - and that special sort of fighter just so happens to be Nick Diaz.

Diaz may have retired four years ago, but his legacy as a tough son of a bitch lives on.

In 37 professional fights, the oldest Diaz brother - fellow bad boy and badass Nate being Nick's younger brother - was only ever stopped twice. For those two stoppages, one came back in 2002 before he'd signed with UFC, and the other was a doctor's decision that clearly angered the fighter.

Nick Diaz was a fighter known for his brash attitude, his love of a brutal battle, and for his unrelenting toughness. He may have been controversial at times, but UFC desperately needed the sheer star power that Diaz brought for so long.
