10 Toughest Wrestling Tag Teams Of All Time

4. The Dudleys

Easily the most decorated team to make the list. The Dudley Boyz have won just about every tag team title in history. They have won the ECW Tag Titles 8 times, WCW tag titles once, WWE world tag team titles 8 times, TNA tag titles twice and New Japan tag titles twice as well. But that's not what the list is about, this list is about toughness, and the Dudleys have a lot of that as well. The Dudleys cut their teeth in the original ECW beginning to team in 1996. Mid 90's ECW was a tough place, and the Dudley's were the toughest team in the federation defeating the Eliminators, Rob Van Dam and Sabu and the Gangstas over the years and running the tag division. After signing with the WWE, the Dudleys immediately climbed the tag division ladder and had some of the best, most gruelling Tag Team Hardcore/Ladder/TLC matches of all time with the likes of the Hardy Boyz and Edge and Christian. In later years form TNA and New Japan, the Dudleys (as Team 3d) would go on to destroy their competitors furthering their reputation and legacy. While in ECW, the Dudleys were infamous for generating heat. Buh Buh Ray in particular was able to get thermonuclear heat from fans by insulting fans' daughters, mothers and looks. In WWE, they were infamous for viciously crashing opponents (and elderly women like Mae Young) through tables. In TNA, they legitimated the entire tag division and reigned over it as a dominant force for years. They made their mark in all 3 major north american promotions as well as in Japan, and to this day, even though they tag more infrequently Devon and Bully Ray are the intimidating favourites in any match and one of the toughest tag teams of all time.
