Eddie Guerrero was such a talented performer that he could be labelled so many different things. He was a man that mastered the lucha libre style, he was a technical wrestler, he was a submission wrestler, he was a high flyer and he damn sure was as tough as anybody too. It's that ability as an overall talent that made him stand out among his peers. A big reason why Eddie went from despicable heel to beloved babyface was because of the toughness he showed in always fighting back against bigger opponents. Eddie's listed height was 5'8" and 220 pounds. He weighed less than that early in in his career, but he definitely bulked up in the last five years of his life. It was great to see Eddie evolving as a performer later in his career. His "Lasso From El Paso" finisher was a good looking move because it put a lot of pressure on his opponent's knee and he managed to win a few matches that way. He also famously had a lot of matches with Kurt Angle where they built the match around Angle's Ankle Lock finisher. Eddie managed to outsmart Kurt at WrestleMania 20 by dealing with the pain, but also taking off the boot to outsmart Angle. A few months later at SummerSlam, Angle got the win back, but it was a match based around Eddie's toughness and craftiness. Fans loved Eddie because of his never give up type of attitude. That's why should be considered and remembered as a tough guy just as much as he's remembered for everything else.
