10 Toughest WWE Wrestlers (Who Were Under 6 Foot)

4. Dean Malenko (5'10")

Dean Malenko had a listed height of 5'10" although he might be even shorter than that. Malenko was one of the best technical wrestlers throughout the 1990s when he was in ECW, then WCW and WWE although his in-ring career there lasted less than two years. He's been working backstage in WWE since he retired in 2001. Anybody that has watched Malenko wrestler knows that he was very gifted in the ring. He wasn't a great talker or actor, but he was so comfortable in the ring. He was also known as a shooter meaning that if somebody got out of head or wanted to test him, he could legitimately hurt the guy with a submission move if he wanted to. He's one of those guys that looked very natural when he was out there. If he made a mistake it would be a shock because he was so good. Some guys just look like they belong in the ring and that's the kind of guy Malenko was. It's no surprise that he's been a WWE agent for over a decade because he knows the business so well. The reason he's here is because he had the look of a tough guy while also possessing some of the best submission wrestling skills of anybody in the business. His finishing move was the Texas Cloverleaf, but he was called the "Man of 1,000 Holds" because of his arsenal of moves. It was a name that he earned and deserved.
