10 Trades WWE & AEW Need To Make In 2023

2. Adam Cole To WWE

Meanwhile, Adam Cole would be better off on the WWE side.

He's not involved in this fantasy trade party just because real-life girlfriend Britt Baker is too. No, Cole is here because he never got to sample WWE's main roster at all. The old Undisputed Era chief was NXT all the way, baby, and that's a pity considering who runs it in 2022.

Adam has been very upfront about his friendships with mentors Triple H and Shawn Michaels in interviews. That hasn't changed since he joined AEW last year, and that shows how strong the bonds were between those three men. It'd be amazing if Cole got to live out his WWE dreams under their watch.

His All Elite run has been a bit sh*t thus far anyway, being honest. Tony Khan's roster is far too busy, and that's left Cole scrambling for house room in multi-mans or working further down the card. Finding out what 'Adam Cole In WWE: The Triple H Years' would look like lives rent free in this guy's head.
