10 Trades WWE & AEW Need To Make In 2023

3. Kevin Owens To AEW

This is a tricky one.

Kevin Owens signed a brand new deal with WWE last year that netted him some serious cash. That's wonderful, because there was a period when KO looked like he'd rather be anywhere else than on Raw/SmackDown. The fact he's making oodles of dosh is fab.

Howeeeeeeeeeeever, Owens remains great pals with The Young Bucks over on AEW's side. That's why the internet was rife with rumours that he'd happily bin WWE to chill out with his buddies and put his feet up on Tony Khan's couch. Will that happen? Hmm, maybe not. Should it happen? Hell yeah.

Look, it's easy for some writer to sit and play God, but KO realistically isn't going anywhere. Admittedly, he's been included for totally selfish reasons - yours truly just fancies seeing Kev tear it up on Dynamite for a while. Then WWE can have him back.

Think of this as a loan more than a buy. Ahem.
