When Braun Strowman was called up to the main roster without first appearing in NXT, the idea that NXT had evolved into its own secondary brand officially existed as a notion. If NXT will be a stand-alone brand next to the main roster, then keeping main and NXT performers separate until a once-yearly blockbuster tag tournament would be amazing. The idea of Cesaro pairing again with a just-returned Tyson Kidd. What about a dream tag combination of Samoa Joe and John Cena. Perhaps Finn Balor and Hideo Itami again? Or what about bringing in The Young Bucks as New Japan/Bullet Club representatives, too. The potential would be incredible.
