10 Truly Awful WWE Divas Storylines, Angles And Gimmicks

10. Michelle McCool's Lovin' Life

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DeIlKMtICRc Michelle McCool's WWE career started in 2004. Back then, she was just another in a long line of nondescript women trying out for the WWE Diva Search. McCool placed seventh but WWE hired her anyway. Over the next couple of years she had was given some pretty shabby gimmicks, such as fitness trainer and 'sexy teacher'. They weren't winners, that's for sure. Still, they were slightly better than the unbelievably lame 'All American Girl' gimmick that she was given in the summer of 2007. It wasn't a vindictive gimmick, it wasn't mean-spirited, it was just so unbelievably lame. Vignettes aired which showed McCool running along the beach, rollerblading and trying on close. They were cheesy, something straight out of the 1980s. Each video ended with McCool's catchphrase 'I'm Michelle McCool and I'm lovin' life'. That was her character. Seriously. She loved life. Needless to say, her character (or lack thereof) didn't make much of an impression on the WWE universe. It would not be until she formed LayCool with Layla that McCool would have any sort of real impact.
