7. Anderson Silva

Many fight fans will often point at Anderson Silva when discussing who the greatest pound-for-pound fighter in UFC – potentially MMA – history is. Being held in such high regard doesn’t mean that The Spider is exempt from Dana White’s wrath, though.

The first time that White vented his anger at Silva was back in 2010. After several fights in which Dana thought the then-UFC Middleweight Champion was just going through the motions, he let rip at Anderson following his UFC 112 win over Demian Maia.

Feeling that Silva was lazily only fighting at half-speed and half-interest against a fighter he was well in control against, White actually walked out before the fight came to its predictable end. After the Brazilian’s boring and bland win, Dana publicly lambasted Anderson for not giving the fans their money’s worth.

Fast forward to 2017, and Silva threatened to retire unless the UFC gave him an interim Middleweight Championship fight at UFC 212 following his original opponent, Kelvin Gastelum, being pulled from the PPV.

That would stoke the fires even more, as Dana White slammed the legendary Anderson Silva for thinking he could call the shots.
