10 UFC Fighters Who Had Perfect Performances Inside The Octagon

1. Anderson Silva Vs. Forrest Griffin - UFC 101

We've all seen that part in The Matrix where Neo is dodging bullets flying towards him like they're nothing. Back in 1999 that was an amazing sight to see, but you couldn't help but wonder what would be the real world equivalent of that. After all, human beings can't dodge bullets in real life, but they can dodge punches.

Former UFC middleweight champion, Anderson Silva, has created a legacy in MMA that has been built upon making opponents miss their attacks, then countering with a strike that is far more vicious. The best example of Silva's sensational striking style is when he went up to the light heavyweight class to take on Forrest Griffin.

A former champion himself, on paper, Griffin didn't seem like a major challenge. However, Silva made him look like he wasn't fit enough to share an Octagon with him. Not only did he duck, dodge and evade practically every strike thrown at him, he also gave Griffin the most violent shellacking of his career. If there's ever been poetry in motion inside the Octagon, then this was the fight where we saw it.
