10 UFC Fights That Could Soon Break Records
7. Kamaru Usman Vs. Colby Covington II
Speaking of the current Welterweight Champion, Kamaru Usman has recently found himself in the unfamiliar position of being the fighter in demand.
Jorge Masvidal wants to baptise him. Conor McGregor wants to add his belt to his legacy (and the record books). Heck, everyone in the Welterweight division now rightly wants a crack at one of the few fighters yet to suffer a defeat inside the UFC.
However, one loudmouth little sh*t (perhaps rightly) demands to be first in line to the throne and that t*sser is Colby Covington.
Now, it's plainly obvious by now that Covington is playing the character of villainous, far-right arseh*le and this commitment to the character has led to a gluttony of fans now pleading for him to get battered every time he's on-screen.
So, Dana White - ever the opportunist - would be right to strike whilst the iron is hot on this rematch.
If the pair can conjure up even more interest than they did last time, this fight has the potential to smash PPV records and if the President of the United States has anything to say about it, this fight could even go down inside of a stadium.
Whatever the scenario, a grudge second or even third fight between the pair would be money and could soon become this generation's Jon Jones vs. Daniel Cormier or even Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz.
