There are a lot of similarities between Rivera and Sterling which make this a really intriguing fight. Both are New York natives who have been highly-touted for awhile, but are only starting to really find themselves in the UFC's 135lb division now.
Although they're both well-rounded, Sterling is the better grappler as we saw with his wicked kneebar submission against Cody Stamman, whereas Rivera is the cleaner, more powerful striker. It's a really tough match-up for both men, but exciting for fans as it should result in some dangerous moments if either man makes even the tiniest mistake on fight night.
