10 Unbelievable Lookalikes That Will Ruin Wrestling For You

2. Sheamus Is James Hetfield

"You look stupid!"

This chant, aimed at Sheamus on the post-WrestleMania 31 RAW, stigmatised Sheamus forevermore. He had returned to WWE with a new mohawk and braided beard. A very capable and physical pro wrestler, an indulgent, drunken chant rendered it impossible to take him seriously as a genuine main event player.

This one micro reaction generates several macro arguments: Does the indulgence of the modern, knowing pro wrestling fan adversely impact the careers of those they pay to watch? Does the fact that they pay to watch justify it? Is it any different to a boo or a cheer? Should we as wrestling fans pay more respect to the craft - and those who perform it? If we chant "Sweeeeeet" at a two-count kickout, doesn't that make a damaging mockery of the battling plight of a babyface?

"You sound stupid" is what many Metallica fans deem of James Hetfield's modern...experiments with his vocals. Lars Ulrich is arguably the only original member of the revolutionary, once-incredible thrash metal foursome. Kirk Hammett replaced Dave Mustaine. Jason Newsted replaced Cliff Burton. And, on the evidence of his "eurrghhh yeah-ahs", Trey Parker replaced Hetfield around the turn of the century.

No concert goers ever chanted this at Hetfield, and thus, even though most would agree that Metallica never approached the genius of their 1980s output, we can still enjoy the incredible live experience.
