10 Unbelievably Awful WWE SummerSlam Matches

10. Legion Of Doom vs. Money Inc. (SummerSlam 1992)

During their first run in the WWF between 1990-1992, the team formerly known as The Road Warriors didn't do themselves justice. The rough and tough tandem should have been tailor made to rule the tag division in the company, but they wouldn't really ever gain momentum. In '92, the WWF re-introduced the duo's old manager, Paul Ellering, and he brought with him a dummy called 'Rocco'. The idea behind the ventriloquist doll was that it would help the re-dubbed Legion Of Doom connect with children in the audience. Instead of helping, it directly contributed to the growing disinterest from Hawk, who wasn't a huge fan of the way the team were being presented. SummerSlam 1992 was a huge event held at Wembley Stadium, and many felt LOD vs. Money Inc would be a great match. Sadly, it wasn't. According to Animal, Hawk was out of it due to the consumption of pills backstage. Ted DiBiase and I.R.S were good workers, but even they couldn't work miracles with a wobbly Hawk, and the match fell apart. This was a warning sign of what was to come for Hawk in later years, and the match stood no chance due to his condition.
