Goldberg's returned with his WCW theme, what what about the lesser known music...

Goldberg's back, and thankfully the WWE has re-deployed his awesome WCW theme (as a slightly remastered version).

Back in his run in the 2000s, the WWE made their own version of his iconic tune and quite frankly, it was terrible.

WWE has the reputation for more polished presentation, well known entrances, and superior themes compared to World Championship Wrestling, but let's not forget that history is always written by the winners. But WCW had its fair share of memorable tunes also.

We know the obvious ones: the original nWo theme, Booker T's music (aka. Harlem Heat's theme), Four Horsemen, and the goosebumps inducing Sting theme (which WWE annoyingly didn't use for WrestleMania!). This article instead stays away from those well known hits, and provides some of the more forgotten or overlooked gems...

10. NWO Wolfpac

The prevailing wisdom is that the nWo was white hot...until it went red & black. But as a young British kid tuning into Nitro on TNT, the Wolfpac was something I could get behind, and it was made even easier by their uber cool theme.

With a tasty hip hop hook, catchy percussion, and laid back rap vocals, it oozed attitude. It was different to the 'Black & White' theme because it worked as an actual song that you could mouth the words to when they came down to the ring. While mid-late nineties WWE was saturated with heavy guitar riffs, generic metal melodies, the Wolfpac theme was a tune you could imagine throwing on at a BBQ in between Dr. Dre and 2Pac tracks.

I'm not taking anything away from the 'Black & White' theme, but the Wolfpac tune has definitely been brushed under the carpet. Give it a listen.
