10 Underrated WCW Entrance Themes

5. Disco Inferno 'Disco Fever'

What other music could be better for a cocky, cool, disco-dancing fool than this?

A classic seventies dancefloor beat, soul-pop diva vocals that wouldn't be out of place in a Diana Ross tune, and cheesy feel-good lyrics that epitomised the entire disco scene, this song is full to the brim with sparkle, and a good sense of fun. Let's be honest, would we have had the crowd popping Fandango entrance if Mr Inferno hadn't paved the way?

Glenn Gilbertti played a large part in making this theme what it is. He embraced this theme with open arms and he committed to those dance moves. This throwback seventies disco genre was less commonly heard at the time in wrestling. It broke the monotony of hard-nosed themes that largely drew on influences from the more rock based eighties and nineties records.

'Disco fever...disco fever...disco fever...yeah yeah yeah yeah...'
