10 Underrated WCW Entrance Themes

4. Chris Benoit

Boom, Pop Pop, Boom-Boom Boom-Boom Booom...

This theme is entirely in the expected pro-wrestling music wheelhouse. A solid heavy guitar riff, a drum break with some aggression and thunderous bass, then an upwards key change of the same riff. But what a riff!

The joy in this music is in the breaks between the guitar notes and the timing of the quick drum clap sounds in the main lick, which evoked Benoit's speed and intensity in the ring. It is also one of those themes that equally works whether Benoit was wrestling as a heel or a babyface. It's relentlessness could be interpreted either way. Again, a reflection of his in-ring style.

It's no nonsense to the core, and fitted the former Four Horsemen member down to a tee. He wasn't here to sing and dance, he was hear to win a wrestling match.
