10 Underrated Wrestling Promos

3. Kane - "The Brother That I Destroyed"

Kane does not get nearly enough love for his talents on the microphone.

In 2010, at the age of 43, Kane re-legitimized himself by winning the Money in the Bank contract and the World Heavyweight Championship in the same night. After dispatching of former champion Rey Mysterio, the Big Red Machine entered yet another feud with his "brother," The Undertaker.

Also around this time, someone backstage thought it would be a good idea for Kane to start cutting promos with ominous music playing underneath his words. And they were right.

After it was revealed that the once-seemingly-innocent Big Red Monster was, in fact, the one that put his brother in a vegetative state, Kane took a seat in the ring and delivered this masterful-yet-unheralded promo as dim red lights filled the arena. He explained that everything he'd done over the last 15 years was part of a meticulous plot of vengeance against 'Taker for "keeping him in his shadow".

Not only is this promo awe-inspiring in its theatricality, but in how canonically thorough it is. Every single moment in their history is explained, justified, and worked into the current narrative. You simply don't see that level of storytelling in WWE anymore.
