Many of Shane McMahon's in-ring excursions come as a result of a member of his family being attacked or assaulted by a wrestler with whom he's now looking to get even.

This was the exact opposite: Test was getting a little too friendly with Stephanie, and Shane - concerned that he wasn't the right man for her (either that or he was... jealous?) - challenged him to a "Love Her Or Leave Her" Greenwich Street Fight at SummerSlam.

Despite pulling out all the usual Shane O'Mac stops, including the use of one or two weapons we haven't seen in a WWE ring before or since, it was Test who emerged victorious, winning the right to date Shane's sister (who, needless to say, lacked any autonomy of her own).
