Ric Flair's best days were behind him in late 2005. The man who could once boast that he was one of the best in the entire world was a shadow of his former self. Despite this, Flair still managed to have a series of decent matches that year against friend and student of the game Triple H. Following on from their bloody and dramatic cage match at Taboo Tuesday the previous month the two were once again on form for their last man standing match at Survivor Series. Triple H set the pace by attacking Flair in the aisle, not even allowing 'The Nature Boy' the chance to take off his expensive robe. From there they beat each other senseless with steps, sledgehammers and steel chairs. Trips even gave Flair a nasty spinebuster on the floor. They let it all hang out for the fans' entertainment. Flair bled heavily and in the end his figure four leg lock was no match for Triple H's sledgehammer shot. Credit has to go to Flair here for taking way more punishment than a 60 year old man should and to Triple H for being a professional and carrying Flair to something great.
