10 Undertaker WWE Dream Matches That Would Have Ruled
8. Goldberg
A Goldberg versus Undertaker match pretty much writes itself. After all, the two superstars are the proud owners of the two most famous streaks in wrestling history. A Goldberg versus Undertaker match could have happened on a number of occasions, but there were things in the way that prevented it. One time to do it would have been the ECWCW Invasion in 2001. WWF fans wanted to see the likes of Hulk Hogan, Sting and Goldberg squaring off with Steve Austin, The Rock and The Undertaker. The big WCW stars, however, decided to sit out the storyline and collect on their guaranteed contracts. Goldberg was nowhere to be seen and a match with The Undertaker went out of the window. The next opportunity to do Goldberg versus The Undertaker was during Goldberg's year-long run between April 2003-March 2004. Not only were they on different brands, but both were hugely over as babyfaces. It would be hard to turn Goldberg so soon into his run and The Undertaker was gearing up for a return of the Dead Man gimmick. A Goldberg versus Undertaker match would have been a lot of fun. The two men are friends outside of the ring and have a mutual interest in UFC. Goldberg himself has said that The Undertaker was his dream match but it never happened and, sadly, it never will.
