10 Most Undeserved WWE Burials Ever

7. MVP

There isn€™t a WWE burial more depressing than that of Montel Vontavious Porter. The guy had all the tools to be one of the WWE€™s top stars. He was a spectacular promo guy, he had his character figured out forward and backwards, he was very good in the ring, and he stood out amongst the other superstars on the roster aesthetically. His career started off just about as well as anyone€™s could, with his character being courted by Smackdown GM Teddy Long to sign with Smackdown, eventually signing with the blue brand for the most lucrative contract in the show€™s history. He was introduced in a press conference that legitimized him greatly, and everyone was waiting for him to debut. His choice of ring gear, as well as his inflatable tunnel entrance helped him stand out and everything was coming up MVP, from his run as US Champion, to his tag team and rivalry with Matt Hardy. Unfortunately his upward momentum was quelled when he had the audacity to make a disparaging comment toward a doctor procuring a urine sample from him for testing. From that point on he would go on a massive losing streak, and while it seemed he might start ascending again, he was promptly paired with Mark Henry who at the time was also doing nothing. Everything that made him a cool character faded away, and eventually he was granted his release. The guy could have been something big.
