10 Most Undeserved WWE Burials Ever

6. Christian

Christian€™s burial, while not as egregious and career altering as others, was a particularly cruel one. The guy is a workhorse and you can count the amount of bad matches that he€™s been involved in on one hand. If rumors are true, he is also one of Vince McMahon€™s favorite punching bags. His status as one of Vinny Mac€™s favorite targets made it all the more satisfying when he won the World Heavyweight Championship at Extreme Rules 2011. It was hard to find anybody who wasn€™t happy for the guy. He achieved something that many of us never thought he would. Then less than a week later he lost the title to Randy Orton on Smackdown. It was a gut-punch to everyone who had been so happy that the guy was finally getting his due. Instead of allowing the guy to run with the title for a month or two with the people behind him like they were, the WWE had him lose the title swiftly and turn heel. Though he did get the title back during his summer feud with Orton, it wasn€™t the same. Thinking about how fun a month long run of babyface Christian as champion would have been is saddening. He was never more over, and it was squandered. He might€™ve been a poor man€™s Daniel Bryan, but instead he was embarrassed and has since floated around as a guy the WWE uses to help get other guys over rather than a legitimate threat in the company. The concussion bug has hit him over the last year and his career looks to be near its end, with a whimper not a blaze of glory.
