She was right.

No one was ready for Asuka...in 2020!

A decent showing against Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch at the Royal Rumble was enough to remind fans around the world what she was capable of when given the right opportunity. However, once she'd finally fallen to 'The Man' and the current global health crisis forced WWE into a crowd-less Performance Center, Asuka refused to be lost in the shuffle again and hasn't looked back since.

Despite herself and partner Kairi Sane losing the Women's Tag Team Championships to Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 36, 'The Empress of Tomorrow' was still the most watchable entity on WWE television. Singing and dancing her way through ridiculously fun segments, it wasn't long before Vince McMahon had no choice but to give her the spotlight her relentless charisma deserved.

A Money in the Bank win, which actually turned out to be a surprise Raw Women's title victory, firmly solidified her status as the company's most engaging worker.

With another potential banger now scheduled to take place at Extreme Rules: The Horror Show between herself and Sasha Banks, could the Raw Women's Champion be set for an even bigger back end of 2020?
