Some moments in professional wrestling transcend imagination.

A well-done promo hyping an upcoming event can add such dramatic elements to a rivalry that the viewer can't wait to see what's going to happen when the wrestlers clash, and their proverbial worlds collide. Similar are shocking returns that had everyone in the arena (and at home) on their feet, eyes glued to the must-see unbelievable, but not incredulous events unfolding in front of them.

It goes without saying that there's a suspension of disbelief in pro wrestling, much like a moviegoer experiences when they attend their local theater. But the beauty of wrestling, is that anything, no matter how shocking or unlikely it may seem, can, and usually will happen.

Of course, there are "WrestleMania Moments" or "OMG Moments", but the following subjects in this category caused/were a part of and/or were the catalyst for some of the most iconic, on their feet, screaming at the top of their lungs, crowd pop-inducing moments.

WCW had its' fair share of poignant moments as well; Goldberg jackhammering a 500lb Big Show (then known as The Giant), and other sheer feats of strength were just some of the spectacular moments that will never be forgotten.

Regardless of company, each of these moments had your hair standing on end...

10. Brock Lesnar Returning In April 2012 To Take On John Cena

In 2004, at WrestleMania XX in a packed-full Madison Square Garden, a disenchanted audience had no qualms about announcing their feelings for the two combatants in the ring, both of whom thanks to the internet and the all but actual destruction of kayfabe, the fans knew were leaving the company immediately following said match: Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar.

As a matter of fact, the only part of this match that the audience did seem to enjoy was at the end with both men ended up receiving stunners from the saving grace of the matchup, the special guest referee, Stone Cold Steve Austin.

After having had John Cena pushed, arguably unceremoniously and often at the expense of other, underutilized talent, straight to the top, it was on this night, 2 April 2012, that the fans in attendance blew the proverbial roof off the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. After a brief pause by Cena in the middle of almost obligatory-at-this-point promos, the fans were treated to the speakers blaring the all-too-familiar theme of the Beast Incarnate himself: Brock Lesnar.

After an eight-year absence, Lesnar returned with one purpose in mind: taking out John Cena, and becoming WWE Champion yet again.

What’s up fellow Pro-Wrestling FANADDICTS, (and yes, I’m a aware that is not the correct way to spell “fanatics,” but I thought since this was my introduction I’d ease everyone into my sarcastic sense of humor before just jumping off the proverbial high-dive.) ANYWHO, I have been OBSESSED, and not just because I legitimately was diagnosed at 8 years old with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, with Pro-Wrestling. It is BAR-NONE, my biggest passion in life. If I didn’t have to pay bills, I’d do it for free! (Work in the industry in any capacity).
