Bill Goldberg's legendary undefeated steak was up against the man that, in one fell swoop, went from a tired cartoon babyface to the most vital heel in the game. In Goldberg's home state of Georgia, he'd either suffer his first loss or become World Champion.

Up until this point, Goldberg's explosive moves and brute strength made short work of all his previous opponents, earning the United States Championship in one his many conquests.

Hogan, of course, was famously selective about who he'd put over. Goldberg was surging in popularity in-line with his dominance, but if anyone was going to throw a political roadblock in his way, it'd be Hollywood.

As fellow nWo member Curt Hennig made his way to the ring to assist Hogan. But behind him, unbeknownst to Hennig, was Karl Malone, who, under the tutelage of Diamond Dallas Page, thwarted Hennig's attempt to interfere, and along with Bobby Heenan shouting "Your career's on the line! Do it! Do It!" as Goldberg hoisted Hogan up and spiked him down, sparking the entire Georgia Dome to count along with him in glee.

What’s up fellow Pro-Wrestling FANADDICTS, (and yes, I’m a aware that is not the correct way to spell “fanatics,” but I thought since this was my introduction I’d ease everyone into my sarcastic sense of humor before just jumping off the proverbial high-dive.) ANYWHO, I have been OBSESSED, and not just because I legitimately was diagnosed at 8 years old with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, with Pro-Wrestling. It is BAR-NONE, my biggest passion in life. If I didn’t have to pay bills, I’d do it for free! (Work in the industry in any capacity).
