10 Unintentionally Hilarious WWE Moments

3. Roman Ruins The Rumble

The first half of the 2015 Royal Rumble is great fun. Bubba Ray Dudley cameos and does his thing with R-Truth. Bray Wyatt is exceptional, Boogeyman and DDP show up. Warning signs start to flash when Daniel Bryan is chucked out early, but there are still some acceptable stars in there for the edgy Philadelphia crowd.

Then, Roman Reigns enters at #19, and it all starts to go wrong. Dissent had started to rise upon Bryan’s exit, but when the Big Dog makes his entrance and the bookers’ intentions become all too clear, the atmosphere turns downright mutinous.

Once Wyatt, Ziggler, and Dean Ambrose are axed in quick succession, things are ugly. The fans have the choice of Big Show, Kane, or Reigns as their winner, and they choose all out war against WWE’s creative team. Reigns wins, and even The Rock, sent in to cosign his cousin, can’t quash the mutiny.

It’s an utter car crash, a hilarious disaster. What’s going on in the stadium is a big laugh, but it’s funnier still to imagine Vince et al scrabbling around backstage for something, anything, to reverse this disaster. What’s worse: any WWE fan could have told you this would happen.
