10 Unintentionally Hilarious WWE Moments
2. Titus O'Neil Is Bad At Running
Nice and simple, this one. At WWE Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, Titus O’Neil entered the titular event at number 39. As he ran down the ramp he tripped, and somehow managed to fall almost all the way under the ring, before dusting himself off and entering the competition (from which he was eliminated less than five minutes later).
Normally, the commentary team would take measures to paper over a botch, but there was no salvaging this one. They were in hysterics here, and rightly so. It’s a remarkable moment of physics, starting off as a little trip and ending up as an utter disaster.
WWE capitalised on the slip, which gained some mainstream exposure. Within three days they released a compilation of alternate angles and slo-mo captures, ensuring O’Neil’s shame was milked for all it was worth.
While the moment must have been an embarrassing one for O’Neil, he took it in his stride, and in fairness he became by far the most memorable part of the event, and possibly any of the Saudi cards thus far. It’s also going to be the thing he’s remembered for as long as he continues his career, which is less positive, but there you go.
