10 Unique Pitches To Save Struggling WWE Stars
8. The Wyatt Sicks
For a few weeks, The Wyatt Sicks was an interesting mystery angle with a lot of potential. Sadly, any intrigue quickly dissipated, and they've largely been kept off-screen for the past two months or so, only feuding with Final Testament through minor backstage segments at a time.
The constant cryptic messages ran their course and became too generic, proving doing more of the same is not sustainable. Unfortunately, none of the members have caught on enough to carry the group like a normal stable, and WWE is running out of time to try to give them any personality to fix that.
If they're going to remain together as a spooky team, that's what needs to happen, though. They cannot keep going as five barely seen generic dark characters where if you asked someone to explain who they are, they might not even be able to tell you their names.
Why is Joe Gacy pretending to be Huskus the Pig Boy, instead of just being himself? What benefit does Dexter Lumis get out of being Mercy? Erick Rowan went from a sheep to a rabbit because...?
WWE needs to sit down and develop ways to differentiate each member, let them wrestle more frequently to show their unique styles, and let them speak in more than just poetic but meaningless puzzles. Right now, anyone could fill these roles and do the exact same job, so long as they have the masks on.
