2. Gravy Bowl Match
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x10jke9_trish-stratus-vs-stacy-keibler-gravy-bowl-match_creation Thanksgiving episodes of SmackDown traditionally feature some sort of Thanksgiving feast, followed by a major food fight and the Superstars and Divas unlucky enough to need a long shower after those television segments have the very first holiday episode of the program from 1999 to thank. That show not only featured a major food fight to close out the show, it also featured the inception of the Gravy Bowl match. A fairly simple concept, two Divas would compete in a giant pool gravy. Ivory, a Diva whose character was strongly against the exploitation of women, would defend her title against former champion Jacqueline. Both dressed in typical wrestling attire while Miss Kitty served as guest referee. Jacqueline won the bout but it hardly mattered. Two years later, Women's champion Trish Stratus defended her title against Stacy Keibler in the second Gravy Bowl match. Clad in gowns, the ladies tossed food at one another before carrying their fight into the dinner topping. Stratus fought through several of Keibler's attempts to drown her and retained her title following the camel clutch. Because if any one move lent itself to a match wrestled in a pool of gravy, the camel clutch is it. The Iron Sheik must be so proud. As WWE introduced more "pool of ambiguous liquid" matches, the Gravy Bowl match faded into obscurity.
