10 Unlikely Outside Bets To Join Bray Wyatt’s New WWE Stable
8. Sasha Banks and Naomi
The dirty secret about Bray Wyatt is this: while everyone falls over themselves to praise his creativity, he’s a pretty limited wrestler. Hardly a super worker, as Seth Rollins recently pointed out, he’s quite difficult for any other character to feud with. Despite buckets of goodwill, there’s a genuine concern that his new run may have already peaked.
So how do you sustain the excitement around his incredibly hot return? Why not simply repeat the trick by tying another couple of long awaited comebacks in with his new gimmick? Sasha and Naomi may have walked out in disgust at how they were treated, but Triple H could be the man to bring them back to WWE. Sasha in particular became a star on NXT back when the black and gold brand was “Papa H’s” baby.
Wyatt 6 membership might not be the kind of return anyone expected for the pair, but Banks and Naomi were annoyed at the way they were being booked and presented. If nothing else, this would be a sharp departure from their previous, thankless roles as undervalued tag champs.
WWE has just hired a new head of long-term creative, Rob Fee. It seems as though one of his primary roles will be making sense of Bray’s Lore and steering The Wyatt 6 away from disaster. So at least Sasha and Naomi would be part of a group who are guaranteed focus and attention.
