3. Cub Swanson Vs. Kron Gracie
Although Kron Gracie made a successful and impressive UFC debut against Alex Caceres, it did mean that the jiu-jitsu whiz would get a decent step up in competition in his next fight. The UFC didn't disappoint as they've pitted him against the vastly more experienced Cub Swanson.
Swanson may have been a title contender for a number of years, but he's not had the best of runs as of late. The 35-year old has lost four of his last five fights, suffering submission defeats in two of them against Brian Ortega and Renato Moicano. In fact, out of his 11 career losses, seven of those have been by submission.
This might be a cause for concern for fans of Swanson as Gracie is exceptional on the ground. Prior to turning his attention to MMA, Gracie was one of the best grapplers on the planet, winning multiple titles in the gi and no-gi. While his striking is still a work in progress, Kron's jiu-jitsu is among the best in the division, which means it could be a long night for Swanson.
