10 Unsung Heroes Of WCW

1. Arn Anderson

Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of Arn supporters out there, but I think it's fair to say that he's never truly got the kudos that he deserves. Double A was an original member of The Four Horseman and achieved success as a member of the Andersons and The Brain Busters, but he should be remembered for his individual contribution to wrestling as well. Arn was a hell of a worker, especially effective as a heel. Few could cut the ring in half like The Enforcer. It was not just his psychology, but also his willingness to bump around the ring for the babyface, that made Arn such a great heel. He was a badass, but he knew how and when to show weakness and understood the importance of making the babyface look good. He wasn't afraid to help and put over the younger generation of talent, either, looking at the lights for the likes of The Renegade in the mid-90s and taking no-hopers like Paul Roma under his win. Arn did whatever was asked of him in the ring and performed to the best of his abilities, before serious neck and back issues forced him to retired in 1997. Today, Anderson is an important player behind-the-scenes in WWE acting as an agent/producer. He was never a huge singles star, but he was an important member of the WCW roster, a fact that tends to be overlooked sometimes.
