10 Unusual Ways To Get Hired By WWE

1. Get Fired (Daniel Bryan)

The best way to get hired by WWE? Get fired.

Daniel Bryan was an intentionally ill-fitting as part of WWE's substandard product in 2010, emerging from the indies when such pedigree was filthier to Vince McMahon than that Mickie James/Trish Stratus WrestleMania finish, and his sacking was anything but expected after the original NXT cast infamously morphed into the violent and vicious Nexus as the June 7th edition of Raw ended in carnage.

Allegedly going too far for WWE's monied sponsor Mattel by spitting on a fallen John Cena and choking ring announcer Justin Roberts with his own tie, Bryan was let go before the angle was horribly let down, dodging numerous fatal bullets to return in August as a pro-company babyface looking to gain revenge on Wade Barrett's army for storyline ousting him after Night One.

Ever-exceptional at everything he does, Bryan simply went back to enjoying life on the indies in the in-between. WWE would have been a far worse place this last decade without him, but it's unlikely he'd have suffered for the absence himself had they not quietly reversed their decision.
