WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select reports that Fanatics staff and WWE bosses were "blown away" by the demand for Danhausen merchandise over WrestleMania 42 weekend in Las Vegas. Incredibly, merch stands had to restock his items several times because people just kept walking up to buy it.

That's a very good sign for the curious gimmick's future in the company.

As Fightful's post noted, it now looks like Danhausen will be added to the upcoming Fanatics Fest lineup because of his rapid boom in popularity. They also joked that he's done anything but curse WWE's merchandise department, and it's hard to argue with that - the promotion is raking it in on Danhausen swag.

The biggest positive to come out of this is that things got off to a rough start for the ex-AEW man, so it's nice to see him doing so well. His debut at Elimination Chamber in late-February was even likened to The Gobbledy Gooker back at Survivor Series 1990, which...wasn't the most favourable or flattering comparison.

However, since then, Danhausen has soared on WWE television by way of charming backstage segments with practically everyone. It must be difficult for various workers to keep a straight face when Mr. 'Very Nice, Very Evil' is doing his thing and whipping out some of the most top tier facial expressions going.

Even 'Mania 42 guest host John Cena seemed taken by Danhausen's silliness during an in-ring segment also starring The Miz and Kit Wilson. Cena couldn't stop laughing throughout.

Good things are coming Danhausen's way. He must be loaded!
