New Japan Pro Wrestling have had a fantastic 2017 thus far, and they'll present another potential Show Of The Year candidate with Dominion 6.11 this Sunday (June 11th).

Highlighted by four Wrestle Kingdom 11 matches, its second half is loaded with potential show-stealers, and while outdoing the hotly anticipated rematch between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada is a tall order, this IWGP Intercontinental Title bout could pull it off.

The laconic Tetsuya Naito is one of Japan's most popular wrestlers. This'll be his fifth title defence since winning NJPW's second biggest belt in September 2016, and it won't be easy. Hiroshi Tanahashi is no longer the company's figurehead, but he still sees himself as New Japan's true Ace, and while wear and tear have definitely taken a toll on his body, he never fails to deliver in a big spotlight.

Tanahashi suffered a bicep injury on the company's recent American tour, and may not be at 100% going into Dominion. The man himself insists it won't be a stumbling block, and if he's right, there's nothing stopping them from having another classic.

Tanahashi and Naito would've stolen the show on January 4th if not for Omega and Okada, and if this bout comes with even half as much drama as the last, it'll have fans raving.
